new generation {newborn photgrapher}

Once upon a time, not so VERY long ago, I began taking photographs.  I was at once drawn to portraits, and among my very first subjects, as found on the earliest roll of film of mine I’ve found, was my little sister (on the right), and two of my neighbors and very good friends.  I was seven years old, and perhaps we can credit the sweetness and willingness of these early portrait subjects with my love of photography even to this day.

So you can imagine my delight when this past weekend I had the opportunity to meet and photograph the newborn baby of the little girl on the left, now a gorgeous, glowing new mama.

Her daughter is sweet as can be, and already the entire family seems quite smitten with her!

So welcome to the world, baby M, we’re so glad you’re here!
